Melody Schmidt is a twenty-something writer and photographer from Austin, TX and the editor of Travel in Style. She has always been passionate about exploring new places and fell in love with solo travel on a trip to Washington D.C. last spring. Her blog is a destination for travel inspiration and style tips for women in their twenties who choose to dream big. Melody aims to inspire other young women like her to pursue their sense of wanderlust and travel dreams through her travel guides, photography and style posts.

Where are you from? I’ve spent most of my life in beautiful Austin, TX but I’m originally from Florida. I grew up going to Walt Disney World and even worked in Disney’s corporate offices right out of college, which is why you’ll see lots of magical content and guides for the Disney Parks on my blog. I’ve also lived in Alabama for college, where I double majored in PR and psychology at The University of Alabama. (Roll Tide!)
What camera do you use and how do you edit your photos? I shoot with a Canon EOS 6D and edit in Lightroom and Photoshop. You can shop my Lightroom presets that I use to edit all of my blog and Instagram photos here!
